Lisa Romano

As a bookkeeper, Lisa’s priority is to accurately and efficiently complete monthly accounting, payroll, and bank reconciliations for clients, as well as assist clients with whatever they need. She knows that tax season can be very stressful, so she prides herself on doing her best to put clients at ease with a friendly face and a positive attitude. Being involved in so many different businesses and helping them keep their finances in check is very rewarding to her. She loves to meet new people and learn new things every day, and that keeps her motivated and excited about work at Ironwood.

Originally from New York, Lisa got her bachelor’s degree in business management from St. John’s University. After receiving her degree, she got into the financial industry when her family opened a restaurant and needed a bookkeeper, so her accountant taught her how to keep the books. She quickly realized she loved what she was doing and has now been a bookkeeper for the last 16 years.

Lisa and her husband of 27 years have lived in Arizona since 1995 with their two children. She spends her free time playing with their three dogs, singing, and baking as often as she can.
