Chris Mortvedt

As an Associate Advisor, Chris understands that our clients’ time is extremely valuable, and he prides himself in doing all he can to make their lives easier. From preparing financial plans, modeling financial scenarios, and assisting in the planning process, Chris helps ensure our clients’ success.

Chris graduated from Grand Canyon University with his Bachelor’s in Finance and Economics, and he has been able to turn his passion for finance and desire to help others into a career in wealth management. Chris knew he wanted to help others after watching his two sisters, a Registered Nurse and a Kindergarten teacher, help people every day. He followed this passion, and while receiving his degree, he found a job at Charles Schwab as an intern within the Planning and Portfolio Group. After graduating, he continued to work with Schwab for several months in a service role and then transitioned to Ironwood to build closer relationships with clients.

Originally from Littleton, Colorado, Chris moved to Arizona when he realized he wanted to stop scraping the ice off his windshield and live somewhere warmer. Living in Phoenix now, he enjoys all the outdoor activities the beautiful state has to offer. In his free time, you can find him hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his wife and dog.
